This past Saturday was Moo's last spring concert with the Nashville
Children's Touring Choir. Yes, the tour to Huntsville, Chattanooga and
Atlanta is coming up in a little over a week...but for the most part,
she's done with this amazing chapter of her choral experience. There is
nothing better out there, and if there is...well, then it's not done
among better people. We have been--and will continue to be--exceedingly
blessed by the time we have had at NCC.
Here is a link to the spring concert at McAffee Concert Hall that was
held this past Saturday in Nashville on the campus of Belmont
University:
(A fellow NCC parent took this video from a better vantage point than
where I was seated. At minute marker 3:15, the girls begin a small
ensemble performance during the song, "Angels, Ever Fair and Bright".
It was lovely.)
Belle has another year ahead
of her, so I will continue to function as NCC Librarian and Parent
Assistant. After that, well, Belle is hoping for a graduate assistant
position during her freshman year...so, if dreams come true for my youngest, goodbye isn't goodbye for
awhile. Moo will move on to NYC--Nashville Youth Choir--the high school choir under the
direction of Robert King. It meets at the same venue and at the same
time as NCC, and with a fair amount of the same friends who have moved up as the years have passed.
