I am so proud of my eldest. Moo started a high school tutorial this fall, and at almost the close of the grading period, she is carrying a perfect score in all of her classes. In the case of English, she has a 100% and in Algebra 1, she has a solid A (the teacher hasn't given percentage scores yet). In her Physical Science class, she is currently receiving a 105% for quizzes, 101% for homework, a 100% for tests taken so far, and a 102% for lab work. All this while she is desperately working AHEAD a couple weeks in order to not have any homework over our coming vacation, and juggling various extracurricular musical activities.
She's a champ, and I'm kicking myself for any and all fretting that I did along the way on our homeschool journey. Can she do well with teachers, classrooms and homework after only experiencing all of that up until now in our home at our kitchen table? Why, yes...yes she can do more than well...she can do awesome!
