Canine Visitation

We are dog-sitting this week for our friends Amy and Tom.  This is Pee Wee, and my mopey Shih Tzu is a little uncertain about what to think about this visitor.  On the one hand, he has more company, but on the other hand, he doesn't know what to do with him.  So, they started out staying in their own quadrants of the house.  It's not that they are hostile or unfriendly to each other...just, um, apathetic.  For instance:

This is where Pee Wee spent the dinner hour.

This is where Charlie spent dinner hour--about 10 feet away, facing away from Pee Wee...and looking depressed...like he was having an identity crisis of some sort.

Later that night, Pee Wee enjoyed watching The Biggest Loser with the hubby and me...

...while Charlie wondered, "Are you gonna do anything about him being on the coffee table?  I mean, um, HELLO?!?  Doesn't that break some sort of doggie etiquette??"  He's so uptight.
