I...um...gulp...have a...sniff...teenager.

My daughter is now a teenager.  Thirteen years ago today, my husband brought me to the hospital in order to give birth to my lovely Moo.  She is a delight, and is truly one of the most gracious and kind souls that I know.  She is gentle and loving, and yet has a fair amount of outright wackiness in her--I blame her father's genetic contribution for that part. :)  We could not be more proud of our little girl as she makes this first of many transitions from one stage of development and maturity to another.  We love you, Sweetpea, and we consider you to be a good and perfect gift from the Father.

May our child be a blessing to all she meets,
and may she count us among her blessings as well.
Blessed are you, Adonai our God, King of the Universe, who gives innumerable good and perfect gifts to those who are called by your Name.

Gulp....I can't believe how beautiful and grown-up she is now. You are truly very blessed!! (And this makes US officially OLD!)
