Me: Okay, wait until I'm done at the computer and Moo is done with her worksheet.
Belle: (orange note card in hand, 2 minutes later) Now, Mom?
Me: *Sigh* Okay Bellie. (Proceed to sit down on couch next to Moo)
Belle: (Standing in front of room, clears throat, looks down at note card, and begins) My fellow sister, my fellow mother, I want to talk to you about my mother. She is always doing things for us around the house that she doesn't want to do...dishes, laundry, mowing the lawn, educating us*, cooking for us* and so much more. The Scriptures say in Proverbs 31 that 'a wife of noble character, who can find? She is worth far more than rubies'...but I'll get back to that in a moment. I want to thank you Momma, for being such a great mom...for I have found such a mom of noble character. I love you.*Please note that I LOVE home educating (although I HATE math), but she's right that cooking is not something I delight in. Also, that whole "I'll get back to that in a moment" thing killed me...it struck me as so sweet and funny. :)
How blessed am I to have the children that I have been given? Beyond measure, I tell you...beyond measure. It was one of the most precious moments that I've experienced in some time. It has been about a week since her "announcement", and she still comes up to me and holds my hand, whispering "my mom of noble character".
I only pray that I will be counted worthy of the admiration of my little Belle.

You and Steve have done your homework, taught them well (so far)...meaning they are still so young, and a long way to go....but I have long thought you were born with God inside!!! I wish God had given me a daughter like you, but He didn't, He gave me a Niece like you...and that cannot be taken away!!
Oh MY!! do I love you, and those precious girls, AND that precious husband!!
