Winter Violin Recital, 2012

Moo performed "Martini Gavotte" for her violin recital this past December.  She did really well (even I tire of reading my words of praise for my girls--but really! She did!).

As is my ritual, I took way more pictures than were necessary:

This is Sara Dudley, Moo's violin teacher as well as a sweet girl and amazing violin talent.  She has recently accompanied Eric Church during his Artist of the Year Award on CMT, as well as having performed with Transiberian Orchestra, at the Bonaroo Festival and of course with her boyfriend's up-and-coming band Uncle Skeleton (hee hee, I love that name).  She is from a rich lineage of musical folks, with both parents teaching at Belmont University, and her father having retired from a career of playing piano for Crystal Gayle. (Ahem, excuse the over-the-top amount of name dropping)
