Mornings with Belle & Moo

Belle:  "So, this girl at choir told us a story where these sketchy looking boys were following her in a car while she was walking along on the sidewalk.  And she thought to herself "great, and I'm wearing my tank top and my good butt jeans".  I mean, what are good butt jeans and bad butt jeans??

Me: (Avoiding the question by using my therapeutic training)  "What do you think of that story?"

Belle: "It proves that there are creepy guys out there--as I predicted--and that's why I should carry my pepper spray!"

Me:  (Silent prayer)

**Insert long discussion about all sorts of stuff after second cup of coffee**

My favorite quote of the morning came from my eldest:

Moo: "Have you ever seen Jane (not her real name) and her skinny jeans?  They are so incredibly tight...I feel sorry for her...it's not worth it.  (LONG PAUSE)  I mean, she couldn't even move fast enough for a game of tag."

Now THAT'S my idea of priorities. :)
