Gowns and Goals

I am a little short on time, so I will condense two ridiculously separate and distinct topics into one blog post: one topic is regarding homemade gowns fashioned out of silk scarves, the second is about going to the season opening game of the Titans vs. Patriots at Nashville's LP Field.  I'll trust that you will figure out which pictures deal with gowns, and which with goals.   ;)

My mom gave the girls these silk scarves around 7 years ago, and they are still a favorite element in their play and fashion

My hubby was given 4 tickets to the Titans vs. Patriots game, and despite a little altitude sickness and trouble breathing the thin air where our seats were located, it was a good time.
After the National Anthem, two U.S. Air Force jets did a flyover.  So neat!

Smoked turkey legs for lunch.  Yum.

This was taken before kick-off, but you see all those empty seats in front of us?  Those were ALL taken up with Patriots fans. Bleh.  Not that I am a huge Titans fan (though now I know that I can like them simply because they are a forever underdog team), but I do not like the Patriots.

Music during pre-game televised on the TITANTRON.  Sounds scary.

Brady.  Boo. (Stole the picture from Google*...I did not get on the field.  Maybe next time.)

Locker, the underdog QB.  *(ditto)

"Hey, there are guys playing football down there!  Who knew?"

A good time was had by all.
