With her new birthday dress and fancy curls, Belle is off to The Melting Pot with Daddy for their dinner date. She has been looking forward to this all day.
Because of the novelty of smart phones, those of us left at home were able to get a peek in on Belle's dinner date with Daddy while it was still in progress:

| I could give a backstory here...but it won't help explain why this kid is so jazzed about a red bucket. I mean, it is a bucket. But apparently, in the Mysterious Benedict Society, there is a character with a red bucket. What that character did with the bucket, and why it is such a big deal to my daughter, I don't know. I'm not sure if I got the size right either, but I don't think it mattered. |
