This weekend, the girls had the opportunity to perform at a wedding ceremony held at the Skerrit-Bennett Chapel on the campus of Vanderbilt University. It wasn't a mandatory performance, so only about a quarter of the NCC Touring Choir opted to participate. It didn't matter that we were down that many kids, since the acoustics in this old building were amazing. It was lovely, and the girls got to see a beautiful bride surprise her groom with a song that he didn't know she was having the NCC sing--"In My Life" by the Beatles. It was sweet.
