Our baby girl is turning 10 tomorrow.
To use a terribly hackneyed phrase--I don't know where the time has gone. But one thing that my husband and I do know, is that the time has been filled to the brim with joy and thankfulness for the special young lady that Bellie is becoming.
Belle, you are a young lady of conscience who is not only extremely beautiful and bright...but most importantly you are a spirit who is sensitive to the Father's leading. We treasure you!
| Jaiden was ever close to the birthday girl and her presents. |
| Also present: Auntie Dani, Josh, Canaan, Lily, Marah and, of course, Boomer. |
| Books on horse care--these pages will be poured over. |
| Note--my Aunt Swede and Uncle Cliff are turning 80 and 90 years old this year! |
| Ahhh...cold, hard cash that Belle wants to use toward getting a Kindle (atta girl!). |
| She was SO excited to get new pajamas. |
| It's hard to get a picture of Drew. He thinks that the camera will steal his inner-ninja. |
| Monkey socks! |
| Ooooo...lip gloss! |
| ...and then a moment of hugging said baby monkey. |
| A baby sock monkey brings a big hug to the gifter... |
| Hair pretties from Mimi & Bucky. |
| Fancy flip-flops, too. |
| The cousins. |
| Belle thinks that her cake is THE BEST EVER. She is so easily pleased by cakes bought at Jewel, and her not-so-great-baker of a mother is very thankful for that fact. |
| Bucky wants to help blow out the candles too. :) |
This is the last important family event that will have to be celebrated without Daddy.
Three out of four of us have celebrated a birthday while separated.
*whew*
So glad that is over (I will be posting soon on the big move!).
