Oh yeah--this country girl is really living the 21st century life now! I bought a webcam, signed up for a skype.com account and I had the motivation to figure out how they work....and I did it! My dear friend Sally (you know, the Pumpkin Queen) is relocating to the continent of Africa in the next year, and this is how we will be able to bear the separation. We had our first chat today, and we felt like self-conscious and giggly 4th graders. It was great! For those dear ones who live across the country, it sure would be great to get a "call" from you sometime. :)

well, sometime we'll have to try it out. We have a webcam and skype account, but I'm not sure how to use it... but Chad could help me out!
Our friends in Batavia used Skype and a webcam to stay in touch with their sons in China. Worked great - and such a deal! (The time difference was the only challenging restriction) Hope it works for you.
