Around Town 2012

Savannah's Candy Kitchen, Nashville.  Lots of candy, with a train track that runs above the heads of customers.  I think my nephews will like this place.

A view down Broadway.
Okay, we thought it was about time that we looked into buying some cowboy boots.  I think that proof of this purchase is necessary to renew our driver's licenses here in Tennessee.  :)

Belle found a pair that she liked right away.

Then, she realized that in order for the place to make money while selling "Buy One, Get Two Free", a single pair is really quite expensive.  Life lesson...for all of us.

Cowgirl.

All along Broadway, there are plenty of photo ops.

Why does he have that look on his face?  Well, they posed for this picture...and the barrel started rolling backwards...down, CRASH, off the curb and into that suburban.  From in the store, a gal screamed "Oh s*%t! We're losing the barrel!"  My husband saved the day, lifted the barrel back onto the sidewalk, locked the wheels, and went on to pose for another picture:

We went into the Old Spaghetti Factory for a look around.

Settled on eating at Panera right across from where we parked.
Oh, not to forget--I got a pair of clogs!  $99 on sale for $19.95.  Woot!
