Almost a year ago, my husband started a new job as the construction manager of a marina community in Ottawa, Illinois. When we first drove by the site, they were just moving tons of dirt around. Because I lack 'vision' for these things, I just couldn't understand why my husband was so excited about the project. Well...now I know. Ten months later, it is a beautiful site that is really coming along, and is postured to become a very special place for people who love to boat or live on the water. One of the greatest benefits so far for our family, is that we have been able to go boating more in the last summer than in all of our 13 years of marriage!
